Apothic Rose: 2021

 

This rose is made from Tempranillo grapes of California and priced around $15. The winemaker notes on this wine are," Layers of strawberry and watermelon with a hint of raspberry, for a refreshing wine that is light in color yet dark in nature." Personally, this rose is extremely sweet. The sugar coats my tongue and stays long after I've taken a drink. The primary flavor I get from this drink is strawberry, but not a natural strawberry. It tastes almost like a strawberry dum-dum. I definitely didnt enjoy this wine as much as the others I've tried during this semester. If I was to rate this, I'd give it a 4/10. It just didnt give me other vibes than an uncarbonated strawberry syrup.
